So I just have to say, since I quit smoking pot my social life has gone to shit. I rarely see/talk to anyone I used to and spend the majority of my time alone with my animals or with my mom. I get more and more lonely every day

I brought ORION (yes, that’s the name I chose for real for my pup) to the vet today! He got his last booster shot…which means I can go to the dog park again! I’m so excited. Well, it’s been a week and I’ve decided to adopt my foster kid. Shut up, we all saw it coming, except for me, I guess…I tried to be strong. It’s so hard to say no when I do want another dog, a BIG one, and this puppy is just fucking smart as hell. Seriously, he’s such a good boy and he’s fricken adorable. My first full day of puppy time has been successful. No accidents in the house, he got a bath, and Jenny helped me decide to call him Rufio while he lives with me. He also has gotten brave enough to go up and down the stairs by himself, and has been walking better on the leash. He is pretty scared of most things though, loud noises, unfamiliar dogs or people…the usual.

Two days until the pups come in, and I haven’t gotten a call yet about a home visit. Gahhhh. It’ll be today or tomorrow (right?), but I’m kind of freaking out. I can’t wait. I just want to know that this is really happening!
It’s my day off work. And for SOME REASON I am awake. Sad part was, I was wide awake at 6:30. So, why when my alarm goes off for work at 7, can I never get out of bed? I don’t get it. Doesn’t make sense.
Anyway, it gives me more time to clean my house and water my plants and other household things. I desperately need to vacuum. And my comforter is basically cat hair. Kind of...

Just got the call! She said she desperately needs me to foster (YAY). A home visit is being scheduled, so someone from MARS will come make sure my house is fit…I’m assuming it’ll work out. Only drawback to the whole thing is I have to drive out to Brooklyn Park on Saturday to pick up the puppy, and drive him/her back there for all vet appointments and meetings regarding adoption...
