Life and Times in the Milky Way

My name is Kelly. I'm 26 and I live in Minnesota. I don't have a life, so I will occasionally blog about my many animals (2 cats, 2 dogs, a tarantula, and a bunch of fish - mostly bettas), the many TV shows I've become addicted to, and random aspects of my life. There will be a lot of ranting, self-pity, and nostalgia, and probably a bunch of stupid shit. I'm doing this for me, not you.

I watch a lot of TV, not very many movies, and have a deep love for anything British atm.

Dear Brand New,

Why must you come to Minnesota to play a festival that costs $99 this year? (This festival is also headlined by DAVE MATTHEWS BAND and TOOL….WTF)

Why can’t you just play a normal venue with tickets that maybe cost $35 so I could afford to go see you?

I vowed that I  would go see you when you returned no matter what, but I’m sorry I have to break that vow…I simply cannot afford it, nor can I justify going to a festival with a bunch of bands that I really could care less about just for you.
